Arrow is such a hoot.  She really is a joy in many ways. Loves to play with her toys and sun bathe in her window. She also needs to work on her house manors.  My office desk and the note pads that are on my desk are off limits. Also the coffee table.

She LOVES PEOPLE she would also be great for a family with older kids.  Older because she gets into stuff. You leave it out and she likes it....... just saying my slippers are not a chew toy. She's a sweetie.  Her nickname is  Roo,  after a kangaroo they way she bounces up and down.

Arrow is estimated to be a Chihuahua and Boston Terrier mix.  She loves people, loves to cuddle and is just as happy to run and play with her toys.   She is a sweet girl who would make a great companion.

Arrow is a bit selective with bigger dogs, but is great with dogs her own size.    She will need a gentle transition into her new environment.   We don't know her history, but she is protective of her people.

The perfect home for Arrow will be a single dog, or with another dog her size.   She would be happy to be a traveling girl for an on the go family.

Please consider adopting this perfect little girl.   She will love you for ever.

Arrow is heartworm positive and is currently being treated, but don't let that stop you from adopting!  The Rescue will support you through treatment.

Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application .

Puppies that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area.  Please call for specific locations.

Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs.   In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.

Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events.  Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
