Hi! I am Kia! I was found running down the street in a bad section of town when I was a tiny baby.
I have been having a great time with my foster brothers and sisters. I especially like the big guys mom calls Mastiffs, but I am not selective. I love the little babies too.
I have been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and have had my rabies shot so I won't get sick. I don't potty in the house, but we have a doggie door where I can go out when I need to.
I am looking for a forever home where I have at least one other fur friend so I am not lonely. I love to run around the back yard chasing all the other kids so it would be great if when you adopt me, you have another small friend for me.
I don't know much about kids, but I think I would like an older boy or girl to call my own. Mom says - NO WAY CAN I BE ADOPTED by a small child. She would have to say NO WAY!
If you think I am as special as my foster mom says I am, please fill out an application.
Puppies that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area. Please call for specific locations.
Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.
Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
