Rust is a very energetic and sweet boy. Great with kids and adults, although a bit shy and reserved until he gets to know you, then he is a love bug. He loves going for walks, and playing with his tennis ball! He also enjoys burying himself in your laundry and cuddling in his foster's bed at night. He likes to play with his foster brother's and sisters! He also likes to couch surf and play like the floor is lava too! That is my favorite game! Rust will bring so much joy and excitment into your home. Please consider him!
Rust found his foster as he was seeking shelter after being dumped in Willis. Rust now heartworm free, and completed his treatment!
Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
